Shadow made her way through the abandoned Twolegplace, She was heading to her usual clearing to practice her Pyrokinesis. She wove through one of the abandoned thunderpaths, avoiding the dead monsters, and hopping onto a branch, walking along it and over a small brook, before jumping down and entering the clearing.

Ivy sniffed. She was padding over to the abandoned Twolegplace. Ever since she had discovered it about two moons ago, she had visited it. She leaped onto a plank of wood and then saw another cat there.

Ivy waited a second before leaping down to meet the cat. She glared. This cat seemed happy. Happy! How could anyone be happy after what had happened to Ivy? How could any cat not suffer? Why did Ivy have to suffer while others didn't? While others had perfect lives with no tears unless they were joyful?

Ivy hissed, stepping forward each time Shadow backed up. She studied the cat, seeing that Shadow was strong. Kittypet, she thought to herself. Even though this Shadow doesn't smell like it, she's a plump as a kittypet. Now what should I say? I shouldn't scare the weak and helpless, but why not?
"What are you doing?" Ivy didn't use her telepathy this time; she wanted the message to be clear.

Shadow’s eyes narrowed. She was trying not to move around much around this she-cat. Shadow couldn’t tell if she was an enemy or not, and her limp might give her away as weak. Which she was not. She didn’t get those scars for nothing. Shadow flattened her ears. “I live in this place.” She hissed. Which was true. She used one of the abandoned twolegdens as her own home. “Im just practicing my pyrokinesis. Nothing to fight over.” She growled. Quickpaw |

Ivy leaped forward, aiming at the cat's back. With any luck, she'd land on it and be able to claw Shadow. Possibly killing the cat. She deserved to die. To be so happy while others were so sad. Others like Ivy. I don't want to hurt you, but you're not giving me any choice. |

Shadow darted out of the way, and wrenched herself around, sheathing her claws and aiming at the other cats head. With any luck, she’d stun her enough to figure out what’s going on. “What is your problem??”

You, Ivy thought. You are my problem. You ruined my life. Yet, Ivy stopped her leap and fell to the ground. She was still on her paws, but a little shaky. She wouldn't show it, though.
(Guess what happened to me last night as I ate dinner that reminded me of Warriors a lot?)

I have a reason, Ivy told Shadow. A very good one. What's your reason?
(So, we have this cat who comes over for food and stuff, but one of the people in my family is allergic to cats, so we can't adopt her. Anyways, we call her Kitty. But, lately this tabby has been hanging around. They got in a fight a long time ago-I didn't see the fight happen, but a patch of Kitty's fur was missing-, but no fights have happened since. Well, the tabby sat on one of the cars and then Kitty saw the tabby. Kitty got up on the same car and basically, they had a stare-down. Kitty won and the tabby slowly got off of the car. I kind of wanted to see a fight, but it's good that no one got hurt.)

Shadow flicked her tail, her expression a bit uncertain. She was tense, as if expecting the other cat to attack at any second. “What are you talking about? A reason for what? Killing others for no reason?” She didn’t bother using telepathy. It wasn’t her power, and so it drained her energy very fast. (That sounds interesting. XD My friends cats do that sometimes, they’ll stare each other down and it either reeks into a fight or one will run off.) Quickpaw |

Shadow nearly laughed. “Help?” She said, a word filled with grief and pain. “I only cause others pain and grief. How could I ever help someone?” Her thoughts drifted to her mother and brother, the way they died. It was her fault.
